There are many reasons to choose French as a Second Language. And we are not just referring to how French is a beautiful language, the "Language of Love", and that your kids will probably sound so cute speaking in French! There are actually many good practical reasons to learn French.

Since, in a different post, we already covered why it's a good idea, in general, to learn a second language in at an early age, this blog post will focus on reasons for learning French.

Did you know, that French is an official language in 29 countries? For example, it is widely spoken in Belgium, Switzerland, parts of Canada, as well as many African Countries. French is also deemed the official tongue of the United Nations, Red Cross, UNESCO, and many other international organizations, providing a range of career opportunities for speakers of the language.

French and English are also both the official language of the Olympic Games! All announcements and documentation in the Olympic Games are presented in both languages.

Knowledge of the French language will also open up the child's door to a wide range of employment possibilities in the scientific, educational, commercial, automotive, and many other fields!
