Benefits of Learning a Second Language at an early age

Here at RemoteLearning.school, we believe all kids should learn a second language! Learning a second language at an early age contributes to cognitive, social, and emotional development, as well as helps accelerate learning.

Many studies show that kids who are bilingual have an easier time learning new material, can solve problems better, and have a wider choice of career opportunities when they grow up. In addition, studies show a 2nd language boosts self-esteem, confidence, and autonomy.

At RemoteLearning.school, we have many kids learning second (and even third) languages! At the time of writing this article, we have available a Spanish as a Second Language course and a French as a Second Language Course so children and their parents can talk about what second language they want to learn. Or they could learn both - Spanish and French share a lot of similarities, so it would be a good idea to take them simultaneously. Plus, we plan to add additional languages in the near future.

The younger the child, the easier it will be for them to learn a second language, so we recommend starting early, but they can start at any age. We have several kids age 4 attending our classes who've already started speaking French quite nicely! So, talk to your kid and see what new exciting language they want to learn. Spanish? French? Some other language? You can always email us and suggest new languages to be added to our curriculum.

All classes, including second language classes, are available to all students at RemoteLearning.school and included with the membership. So nourish your children's growing mind, and take the right step forward and enroll today to give your children the educational edge they deserve. Our teachers and tutors stand ready to help with any classes your kids choose to take!
